About CATSELF:

CATSELF signed up on SellaBand at the end of October 2008, just after she had decided to focus seriously on music and made the first multi-instrumental recordings of some of her songs. Her compositions, often with elaborate and adventurous arrangements, and playful lyrics, often going in unexpected directions, quickly found new fans. Catself kept climbing up the SellaBand chart until on February 6th this year she reached her target of 40 000 € - or more exactly, 40 007 € - the second highest target reached so far on SellaBand (the highest being Public Enemy).

Recently Catself has recorded the first songs of her debut album which will be released in 2012. Catself is still on SellaBand, now with a Promotion Project in order to raise funds for touring when the album is finished. This time she offers to new believers, among other things, downloads of her first and second album, each believer can be in one of her songs and the biggest believer will get the red guitar.

Catself is currently working on her Sellaband-funded album. She has just returned from her first recording session at Preisner Studio in Niepołomice, Poland. She has recorded some of the songs for the album with the Polish folk band Saint Nicholas Orchestra. At the moment she is working on the solo material. She is planning to travel to Poland again before the end of the year to complete the recording work.
